A Scholar & a Scot
Proud of my Scottish heritage and lineage through the House of Lumsden, my favorite dram is a good Glenfiddich, and my profession has been law for 50 years in Tacoma, WA, USA.
During my career I have proudly fought and won cases ranging from environmental negligence to those involving racketeering charges related to associates of the local Mafia back in the day. I defend and fight for my clients to recover damages done to them by often stronger opponents and do so with a tenacity worthy of my heritage, and in an integrity worthy of my peers.
Throughout the past 20 years I have collected some of the most interesting elements of the whisky trade to me personally: The crates our favorite drams were shipped in.
The cases in our collection represent some of the finest historic examples anywhere on the planet, and represent a unique and important element in the history of our world.
It is my hope this collection finds a worthy permanent home.

Notably, throughout my career I have consistently supported a great many organizations serving my community.
Among these is Stars 4 Peace, which I have supported with the office space they need since 2016. They work with local musicians and artists using diverse media to gain support for important social needs like those affecting youth experiencing homelessness and women transitioning from violence in the home.
